SELECTED WORKS

BEAR 3.0 (in progress)

Bear 3.0 explores the production of fantasy while living in the Kingdom of the Internet. Blending motion capture avatars, video games, and a shockingly large variety of bear costumes, it’s about technology’s relationship to desire and sexual imagination.

dam.nation (in progress)

In 1946, the Argentine government imported 20 Canadian beavers (consisting of 10 pairs of beaver mates). They took over the south of the country, claiming it for themselves and eventually became a major world superpower—Dam Nation. Decades later, and despite the country’s poor environment record, humans are looking to move to Dam Nation…

2021 (2025)

A video game about a dying man navigating an American Hospital in attempt to find a technology to live forever. Narrated by the man’s real daughter, the show brings together material artifacts, game design, live music, and AI to reflect on what it means to be truly (a)live and how to give dignity in death to those we fundamentally disagree with.

FUNFUG FORUM (2025)

Created with students from Thomas Mann Gymnasium, FUNFUG FORUM transforms Berlin’s Humboldt Forum into a game-filled spectacle. Mixing escape rooms, scavenger hunts, and sports, FUNFUG FORUM reinterprets the Forum’s “house rules” as frameworks for play. Mischievous, nonsensical, and very (very) serious, this event invites the public to start playing with the rules and questioning how institutions shape the possibilities of social and cultural interaction.

asses.masses (2023)

asses.masses is a 7+ hour epic video game about unemployed donkeys trying to get their jobs back—played live in a theatre from beginning to end by the public. Cheeky and political, and best described as Animal Farm meets Pokemon meets Final Fantasy.

FARCE (2021-2023)

Fictional Arts: Reimagining Creative Ecosystems (FARCE) is a role-playing adventure game set in a ‘fictional’ arts ecosystem where you are cast as an Artist, Presenter, or Producer. As your flourishing arts community faces a series of systemic challenges, you are called upon to respond—exactly how, however, is up to you. FARCE questions the responsibility of the artist and arts worker and encourages its players to reflect upon the power of artists and arts workers to effect change outside of the context of producing art commodities.

culturecapital (2018-)

culturecapital is a card game and performance project about the performing arts economies. Play Companies, roll for Grants, develop Projects, and compete for Communities—the player with the most Communities at the end, wins! Tournaments are held in which artists and public alike are able to compete for a cash prize of public funding.

Soliloquy in English (2016)

Part reading circle and part documentary printed on a re-pulped Oxford DictionarySoliloquy in English is a book for multiple voices about the language that connects them. Passing the book from hand to hand, the readers bring to life a collage of stories (interviews with the artist’s friends, family, and mentors) about what it means to share and live in the English language today—the dreams it makes possible and the marks it can leave behind.
